The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) announces the commencement of the 2024 enlistment process for all qualified graduates and post-graduates as Direct Short Service (DSSC) cadets in various professions.
This statement was made known to us by the Director of NAF Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet stated that “Interested applicants must be Nigerian citizens, single, and between the ages of 20 and 30 years”.

Nigerian Air Force DSSC Ranks & Salary Structure
There are various Nigerian Air Force DSSC ranks. They are broadly categorized into commissioned and non-commissioned cadre.
All officers who have enrolled through the Short Service Commission, Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA), or the Direct Short Service Commission are considered to be in the commissioned ranks (DSSC).
