NDLEA Training Date 2024: A new date has been set for the successful applicants for the Narcotic Officer cadre and the initial class of Narcotic Assistant cadre to report for training, according to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Training Update

Femi Babafemi, the director of media and advocacy at the NDLEA Headquarters in Abuja, announced this in a statement on Thursday.

Instead of the previously announced date of Saturday, July 17, all successful candidates in the two categories of the 2024 recruitment process (Narcotic Officer cadre and first batch of Narcotic Assistant cadre) are now required to report for training at the NDLEA Academy, Kotton Rikus, Jos in Plateau State on Sunday, July 25.

The change in time is being made so that the impacted candidates can celebrate Eid al-Kabir before reporting for training. The preceding declarations’ lists of successful candidates and other directives are still in effect, according to the statement.

NDLEA Training Venue

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency will hold its training sessions in specific locations. All chosen candidates must show up on time for their various training locations. You have rejected the offer if you don’t show up at the training center within the allotted period.

Additionally, it is recommended that all chosen applicants follow the COVID-19 protocol. Any candidate who does not show up at the location by 6:00 PM on the specified days will be disqualified.

NDLEA Training Requirements

Successful applicants (Narcotic Assistants) must report to the Jos-based NDLEA Academy, Kotton Rikus. Those that are selected must bring the following items to the training camp:

  • Original and photocopied copies of their credentials
  • NDLEA online application reference slip.
  • Four copies of 5×7 colour photograph without cap/hat
  • Writing materials, to include biro, pencils, rulers, and notebooks
  • File jacket, among others.
