Is NAHCON Currently Recruiting a Medical Team

It has come to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria’s attention that misleading information is circulating across Nigeria, being forwarded to individuals falsely claiming ongoing recruitment for full-time officers by NAHCON or as medical team members.

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) is not currently recruiting any full-time officers, medical team members, or any other staff as the Commission has notify all Nigerians that such messages remain false.

This application is completely free and that the management of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) will not at any point require or contact any applicant for a fee directly

Guidelines for Application for Membership of the National Medical Team (NMT) for the 2024 HAJJ Recruitment

1. Be aware that the 2024 National Medical Team Operation will be based on volunteerism, any additional position outside this is void.
2. Note that filling the Hajj application form does not guarantee any chance of securing your preferred position.
3. Also, doctors and pharmacists should not be under 28 years and not above 60 years of age, while nurses between 22–60 years of age.
4. Applicants in search of a membership of the NMT:
   1. Must be in active service at the time of the 2024 application.
   2. Should not have served in the previous 3 years Hajj (i.e. 2019, 2022 & 2023)
   3. Have the zeal to work for 28 days and not be in a haste to leave the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I.e. must stay up to 45 days before returning to Nigeria.
5. All successful applicants are expected to obey the ethics of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
6. Each application must go along with an attestation by a guarantor who must be a solid identity; either a career civil servant not below the rank of GL 12,
   1. Traditional ruler,
   2. Magistrate or
   3. Local Government Chairman.
7. The guarantor must have known the applicant for not less than 5years and can attest to the integrity, capacity and capability of the applicant.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • GUARANTORS’ FORM
  • Basic professional/academic certificate
  • NYSC certificate or exemption letter (where applicable)
  • Current annual professional practicing license
  • Profile picture (taken against a white background)
  • Applicants’ declaration
  • Employer’s clearance letter.
