The Oando Graduate Acceleration Program (OGAP) is a prestigious career development initiative designed to identify and nurture young talents with exceptional academic records, leadership potential, and a passion for making a difference in the energy sector. The program provides fresh graduates with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop industry-relevant skills, and build a rewarding career within Oando Plc.
Successful candidates will undergo an intensive training program that combines structured learning, mentorship, and practical work experience. Participants will have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals across different business units, gaining exposure to various facets of the oil and gas industry.
We invite applications from highly motivated individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1) in Engineering, Geosciences, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Age Requirement: Not older than 26 years as of January 1, 2025.
- NYSC Completion: Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program by April 2025.
- Work Experience: Possess no more than two (2) years of post-graduate work experience.
- Academic Performance: Achieved a minimum of five (5) B’s and two (2) C’s in WASC, SSCE, or GCE O-Level in a single sitting, including Mathematics and English Language.
As a participant in the OGAP program, successful candidates will be assigned to different business units within Oando Plc, where they will be exposed to various aspects of the energy industry. Responsibilities may include:
Engineering & Geosciences Roles:
- Assisting in the analysis and interpretation of geological and engineering data.
- Supporting field operations, including drilling, production, and reservoir management.
- Conducting research on energy trends, technological advancements, and industry best practices.
- Collaborating with senior engineers to optimize exploration and production activities.
- Assisting in the development of energy models and feasibility studies.
Business Administration & Economics Roles:
- Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Supporting business strategy development and financial planning initiatives.
- Assisting in project management, ensuring timely execution of company objectives.
- Preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engaging in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management strategies.
